Colin Firth was vert droll and the humor was quite dark..but that sleeping bag and the melodrama of this scene gave me a chuckle!

It was one of the few scenes that broke the tension in the movie, and ironically it was where the most serious action was undertaken (killing himself).

Apr 6, 2012 - This was played during the first play I ever did, when the main character (a man who fought and died because of the Mafia) was just walking away all dressed in white with his Muse accompanying him. It was such an emotional moment, it was just amazing. That play sent a message that was so important, and just amazing.

May 22, 2012 - I totally agree that that scene was meant to be a bit of dark humor. It was funny that George still wanted to make himself totally comfortable before he killed himself, and even organized everything on his table though it wouldn't really matter after he died. And the sleeping bag was hilarious - it kid of reminded me of a body bag as if he wanted I make it easier for people to clear his body after he died. It would also have made less of a mess without blood splattering all over the room, hah.
