There are MANY ways of creating a monopoly, from acquiring and controling a key chokepoint in a supply chain (for example, a key railroad or mine) or having so much capital that if any competition arises, they can squish it like a bug by dropping prices when anybody else enters the marketplace. And that is not counting outright illegal ways.

May 15, 2012 - A lot of the average fellows are very stupid, sorry to say so but that is the truth. How did Hitler come to power if the average guy is thinking logically?
