Jul 12, 2011 - It's the visual aspect of the video that is jarring. It was an interesting experiment, but if you really analyze it, trying to represent the turbulent quality of the music in the visual is too much of a division of sense; and it is a good try, but not a great try as far as synchronization is concerned. Some will take it in stride -- but others may suffer headache or queasiness from it. (Beethoven, of course, has survived worse.)

Sep 3, 2011 - ...maybe life is senseless...but...i don't give a fuck...it's just worthy to live it...and if u've music and love...it's no more senseless...thank you Ludwig...for this masterpiece

Oct 1, 2011 - 'the visual is too much of a division of sense; and it is a good try, but not a great try as far as synchronization is concerned' Did you try closing your left eye? How about both eyes? Try it. What could it hurt? So. Philistine time. Did you know that explosions are both relatively cheap and easy to create? I mean, with the money you guys spent dicking around with your computer, I could have levelled that whole block. Like an artiste. Not that I'm suggesting anything.

Oct 22, 2011 - This is really really awesome and even terifying in some way, but it surely isn't beautiful. Maybe it was to Beethoven, the poor deaf man thought this would be beautiful but it is not really harmoneous.. That's also why I love this piece so damn much..

Mar 10, 2012 - "it is an absolutely contemporary piece of music that will be contemporary forever." - Igor Stravinsky on the Grosse Fuge. This is some of the most beautiful and fascinatingly brilliant music ever written.

Apr 2, 2012 - Music: Excellent! Video? I can see the tribute to Fritz Lang, natural and man-made "beauty" BUT... It's no coincidence that all industrial footage is from Leipzig and environs. Especially the BMW plant, which happens to be the newest in Germany. THIS IS A COMMERCIAL!! Worse yet is that when everything almost seems to fit, I'm forced to stop and think: open-pit strip mining? Who paid for this? This is like bad GDR propaganda but with cool modern film technology.
