Apr 19, 2012 - Hi, Vanessa, I always enjoy your tutorials, and this was good. A couple of ideas, especially with beginners in mind. Use a zipper with nylon teeth longer than the project (won't work for metal), and after inserting the zipper, you can just cut off the excess like you did with the wrist strap. Also, instead of pivoting at the corners, sew completely off the edge, turn the fabric and sew the next seam. I'm teaching a newbie to sew, and this looks like an excellent project. Thanks.

May 1, 2012 - thanks. i have been sewing since i was 13. i wanted to amek a denim purse by threadbanger. so i bought a luttle tiny machine that only did straight stitch. then for christmas my parents got me a real machine... and i have been loving it. my parents would have to walk into my room and get my attention to tell me to eAt, cause i would spend, literaly all day just sewing its been great
