You say you don't take sh*t from people, but are okay when others insult you openly (contradiction?). I get butthurt because small things like that eventually grow up into people who create laws to deny rights of others. Like I said earlier, I myself discriminate (although not profoundly enough to hurt anybody), but I do and admit it.

Apr 10, 2012 - So your point is.. if someone or a small group of people that are part of a larger group of people discriminates against you, that makes it okay to discriminate against anyone else who is a part of that larger group. If I thought it was okay to discriminate against.. for example.. say, asians, based on a single encounter with a group of them, how ridiculous does that sound to you? We've legalized same-sex marriage and adoption, but our right-wing people are always trying to annul that and, save for maybe Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver, things are really a huge mix of discrimination and acceptance. It depends who you talk to, but I just want to see people and be like, "this is my girlfriend" and have them say "Nice to meet you!" rather than asking about it
