May 19, 2008 - preserving freedom is up to the people that live in that country, its not up to the imperialist united states to police the world and force freedom through the barrel of a gun because USA doesnt believe they are being treated right. If the states are so bent on policing the world they should go straight to china, but the states does not want to mess with china because they will fight back. USA is truly the bully in the schoolyard, a bully always picks on weaklings.

Jul 24, 2008 - A "full dictatorship"??!!! Fuckers like this ought to be horsewhipped. He obviously has no idea what a dictatorship really is. He should read up on the USSR or Nazi Germany. No, wait. He DOES know what a dictatorship is, he's just an irresponsible piece of shit trying to score political points. I'm really suprised though that Big Jack didn't claim Bush is really another Hitler too. Must be in another vid.

JohnR22926 mowi:

Jul 24, 2008 - f4: no, we don't want to mess with China because we've got trillions in trade with them. And get this straight. The next time there's a stink somewhere in the world (Bosnia, Darfur, Somalia, Haiti, the list is endless), don't come simpering to us "demanding" that we deal with it. You and your euro-fuck pals can cut a few of your socialist programs and start carrying your share of the military load. I don't want an empire or to be the world's cop. BTW, not my fault you're tiny and weak.

unit023 mowi:

Aug 11, 2008 - there were also terrible dictatorships in Argentina and other places that you probably didn't learn about in your half year hillbilly school system.

JohnR22926 mowi:

Aug 12, 2008 - unit: I've got a BA and an MBA; hardly "hillbilly" schools. But I'll bet you're a REAL scholar, aren't you? A graduate of the "school of hard knocks"? lolol. I've forgotten more about world/american history than you'll ever know. My comments re the vid stand; the guy is grossly irresponsible and wildly exaggerating. Like me calling Obama a commie because he wants to raise taxes. Utter nonsense.

unit023 mowi:

Aug 13, 2008 - bragging about your over priced sub-par american education isn't making you look like an academic jem, please. and learning today that many corporations are not paying federal income taxes...hmmm. what does that tell us? is this the govt's wink and nod, if you supply us with info you won't have to pay taxes? AND they get immunity from prosecution? please wake the fuck up.

JohnR22926 mowi:

Aug 13, 2008 - unit: You're hardly in a position to comment on the quality of my BA and MBA. You can't even spell correctly (it's "gem" not "jem"). Re corporate income taxes, we already have the highest rate in the world. Even the europeans have figured this out and have lowered rates to spur economic growth. Ireland has superb sustained growth and the lowest corporate tax rate of all european countries. And of course, corporations use deductions, etc to lower their tax burden. It's legal and fair.

Sep 4, 2008 - habs: Since 1997 I've kept track of all the books I've read in an Access database. I'm up to 3,710 as of today. My favorite subject is WWII, so unless you've got a PHD in History, I guarantee I know more about it than you and 99% of the other kids on Youtube. And comparing the US to the nazis and saying we have a "full dictatorship" is like calling England "Stalinist Russia" because they've got socialized medicine.

JohnR22926 mowi:

Sep 5, 2008 - habs: My comment applies to nazi germany as well as WWII in general. I've read 3 bios of Hitler as well as bios on Himmler, Goering, Goebbels, Ribbontrop. Also, MANY books about the 3rd Reich and the holocaust. And if you want to say there are some similarities, I can't argue with that. Name one nation on earth that doesn't have SOME similarities to nazi germany...or stalinist russia for that matter. IMO any similiarities are nominal and Jack's mentioning them for rank political purposes.

JohnR22926 mowi:

Sep 5, 2008 - habs: And regarding my arrogance, that's your opinion. But even if I am arrogant...it doesn't mean my points are incorrect. I stand by my original position which is that I know a LOT about 20th century history and Jack's comments are grossly irresponsible and indicative of the "fear mongering" so many political hacks engage in. Better listen to Jack closely, get frightened to death, and then go vote for Obama...because he'll "save" the world. What nonsense!

Sep 30, 2008 - I will contribute to the bailout fund if Henry (Hank) Paulson — U.S. Treasury Secretary, former Goldman Sachs CEO, and all-around bald guy ponies up the $200 million in capital gains tax he was exempt from having to pay. It seems Hank made a bundle from 2003 to 2006 and did not have to show Uncle Sam the money. I made around $17,776 during the same period and though I have already paid Uncle Sam, I would cough in a few more bucks if Hank throws up, err in, his $200 million.

senorfish4 mowi:

Oct 10, 2008 - I think Cafferty is using a bit of hyperbole when he says we're in a "full dictatorship." Cut Jack some slack. He just wants us to be on our toes so we don't slip into a police state where everything you do is monitored.

JohnR22926 mowi:

Oct 10, 2008 - senor: You're probably right. In the 19th century we had the Yellow Press and I guess now we've got a plethora of tabloid news programs that either exaggerate hot-button issues for ratings, or are grossly partisan (posing as impartial). If we have confidence in the average citizen, we must belive he's able to sort through the BS and make the right choices most of the time. I'm just getting tired of the hyperbole. Calling people "fascists" and "dictators" when the term doesn't really apply.
