Jan 16, 2012 - You guys can just go to settings/general/accessibility/assitive touch/ on. Then you will have a little icon which you can move. Now click the icon, hit device, and then lock screen and it will be locked. Sadly, if you want to jailbreak you can hold the lock screen to power off so it's worthless jailbreaking. Hoped this helped!

May 25, 2012 - Mine started doing this. Then the button just gave no reaction to touch whatsoever. Now I'll just have to never restart my iPod. It's been that way for about a year. Probably really bad for it. All of my apps crash.
