Dec 20, 2011 - I saw this a while ago before logging in. It's amazing that the industry hates technology. I knew about the VHS and MP3 player from reading online, but the DAT issue is new to me. They really need to get with the times. Somewhat related to SOPA, the VP of the MPAA wrote an article defending SOPA on Huffington Post. I made a comment about how it won't stop piracy, it went into moderation, and it was not posted. Yup, because my view was different than the MPAA, they censored me.
