May 24, 2012 - The main trouble would be the cold, but generally UK waters aren't so bad. Blackpool was awarded a blue flag, and while it missed out on one last year it shows how much better things have become. I wouldn't hurry into the sea after heavy rainfall though, then the sewage overflow can be pretty bad. I wouldn't hurry to Blackpool either for that matter, but still.
