Oct 8, 2011 - Great review of this pistol! I hate magazine disconnects, and this would probably keep me from carrying it for self-defense, but otherwise the pistol sounds great. Do you know why they chose to cover up the hammer, instead of just making it striker fired? That seems like an odd choice. Also, what does single action delayed mean? I've never heard of that before, is that somewhat like double action, but with a lighter trigger pull?

Oct 27, 2011 - its seems to have good penetration and mag capacity but does this round have good stopping power like is it powerful or no im jus curious about it

Feb 11, 2012 - People need to keep in mind that just about any rifle round will penetrate a bullet resistant vest as well (without a trauma plate). It's the speed of the round that allows it to penetrate. That's why rifle rounds will typically penetrate because they move a lot faster than handgun rounds. It just gets press because it's a hand gun round with a small, very fast bullet. I don't care for the mag disconnect myself. That and the cost might be a deal breaker for me. Nice review.

Soulrider2012 mowi:

Feb 11, 2012 - Regardless of who does the review, it's comparable because they (PMR30/.22 Mag and the 5.7x28) are basically .22 caliber rounds. You could lump the .223/5.56 AR-15 round in there caliber wise although it's a rifle round. The bullets are similar caliber wise it's just the amount of powder behind them. 5.7 rounds are not significantly heavier. Bullet weights are from 28 to ~50 grains, similar to a .22LR round. A .223/.556 does have a heavier bullet (45 to 75gr, etc) & more powder.

Mar 2, 2012 - what a bad ass pistol!

FroggyFilmWorks mowi:

Mar 18, 2012 - this is an armor piercing round, most vests will stop most civilian rounds like the .22 cal and the 9mm like they're nothing, and most do have ballistic plates anyways :)

xUdieToox mowi:

Mar 19, 2012 - I like the fact that your video addresses the flawed rumor that this round compares to a .22 magnum, it simply does NOT. also, I like the fact that this video covers several factors that few or even zero other videos cover. keep up the good work!

PutnAHurtnOnYa mowi:

Mar 19, 2012 - @xUdieToox dont you mean the .22 mag doesn't compare to this? Lol xD
