Feb 14, 2011 - I've never had a problem with the iPhone not sure if you had a thicker one how it would be. The first time I used this I had a messaging phone and it was a lot thicker and was fine. The way the wallet is made there is like the phone pocket is quilted and then there is a hard piece and then the inside pockets so it doesn't dent in. Hope that makes sense.
